Privacy
This page explains how Porto Peace Haven handles information submitted through the website.
Reservation requests
When you request a reservation, we process your name, contact details, room, dates, number of guests and any note you choose to provide. We use this information to verify availability, prevent conflicting reservations, contact you and administer a possible stay. A request is not a confirmed booking.
Secure guest messages
The guest area links reservations to a verified email account and stores messages exchanged with the booking team. Messages include their author and time so that requests, cancellations, refunds and service issues can be handled and audited. Email notifications state that a message is available but do not include the message content. Do not use the message area to send payment-card details or identity documents.
Storage and access
Reservation and message records are stored by our database provider and are accessible only to the relevant guest, the property owner and authorized users of the currently assigned management company according to their role. Administrative access and changes are recorded for security. Calendar synchronization uses private links and shares occupied dates, not the public booking form data.
Guest identification
Additional identification may be requested after confirmation when legally required for guest registration. Do not send identity documents through the initial reservation form or ordinary messages. A separate protected check-in process will be provided when required.
Website operation and security
The hosting and security providers may process technical records needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested page. A security challenge may be used to prevent automated abuse.
Language and approximate location
To show the site in your language, we read the language preferences sent by your browser and the country associated with your connection, as provided by our hosting provider. This happens automatically on each visit, is not stored and does not use your device's precise location. If you choose a language manually, that choice is saved in a cookie.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Optional analytics and advertising technologies are only activated after you consent to them in the cookie banner. We keep a record of your choice (a random identifier, the categories chosen, the date, language and approximate country) as proof of consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. See the Cookies page for details.
Third-party contact
If you contact us through WhatsApp or Instagram, the information you send is also processed by that service under its own privacy terms.
Your rights and questions
You may ask about access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to records that must be retained by law. Use the method shown on the Contact page. The controller's full legal identity, contact email and retention periods must be completed before public launch.
